GIS Centre

“VSEGEI GIS-Centre” – is a certified Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI, USA), which conducts training in using software products developed by this world leader in the field of creating Software for GIS technologies.
The content and form of training for specific software products are fully consistent with the organization of similar ESRI courses in Redlands (USA).

The training courses are conducted by highly qualified experienced (ESRI certificates) teachers in a special classroom equipped with nine personal computers and a slide projector. Classes are held in the form of typical tasks on training data sets, accompanied by theoretical explanations.

Students are provided with textbooks in Russian, and upon completion of training, a Certificate is issued, testifying to the training received at “VSEGEI GIS-Centre”.

Classes “Introduction to ArcGIS” are held monthly in accordance with the approved schedule. Training on other topics is organized as groups are completed on the basis of applications received.

Since 2002, the “VSEGEI GIS-Centre” trained more than 1,330 specialists representing about 80 organizations located in different parts of Russia.
