The 6th Eastern Economic Forum is being held in Vladivostok

      The 6^th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2021) is being held on September 2 to 4 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The event was established by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin on May 19, 2015 in order to promote the economy of the Far East and enhance international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.

      Every year, the Eastern Economic Forum serves as one of the main platforms for discussing key issues of the world economy, regional integration, the development of new industries and technologies, as well as global challenges facing Russia and other countries.

     Traditionally, the Forum platform will bring together representatives of a wide range of industries from more than 60 countries and territories.

     EEF 2021 events will be held as panel sessions, round tables, TV debates, business breakfasts and business dialogues dedicated to Russia's relations with various countries of the world. The business program of the Forum includes business dialogues with leading partner countries in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as with ASEAN, a key integration grouping of actively developing countries in Southeast Asia.

     The Federal Agency on Mineral Resources will traditionally take part in the business and exhibition programs of the upcoming Forum. At the Welcome to the Far East exhibition, the Rosnedra booth is presented as part of the joint exposition of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation.

      According to the approved plan of exhibition events, in 2021, VSEGEI acted as the main organizer of the participation of the Federal Agency on Mineral Resources at EEF 2021.

      The interactive multimedia display “Minerals of the Far East” is demonstrated in the booth of the Federal Agency on Mineral Resources. The main purpose of the multimedia display is to demonstrate the investment and natural resource potential of the Far Eastern Federal District in mineral management and the region's opportunities for Russian and foreign investors.

      The interactive map of the Far East shows to Forum visitors the variety of minerals in the region, key deposits of main types of minerals, their reserves, production and forecast resources.
