Deputy Director General for Geological Exploration; Director, Centre for State Geological Mapping
Tatiana Zubova graduated from Leningrad Mining Institute majored in hydrogeology and engineering geology.
Since 2003, she has been working at VSEGEI in the Department of Regional Geological Exploration as a project manager, since 2012 as the head of department, since 2015, she was the Director of the Centre for State Geological Mapping and since 2016, she is VSEGEI Acting Deputy Director General for geological exploration. She is Deputy Chair of the VSEGEI Academic Council.
Ms. Zubova supervises VSEGEI activities in the implementation of the state assignment of the Federal Agency on Mineral Resources for regional geological, geophysical and geological surveying in the Russian Federation as concerns composite and general mapping at scales of 1:2.5 M to 1:5 M, compilation of sets of state geological maps of third generation at a scale of 1:1 M. She is responsible for preparing information and analytical materials for the implementation of the VSEGEI activities in regional studies and preparing proposals for projects of strategic documents, state and targeted programs for regional geological study of mineral resources of Russia and its continental shelf.
